Carey brings to Corcoran many varied skills. She ran her own 57th Street fashion label, Carey Adina, and negotiated numerous real estate transactions in midtown. In her career as a journalist, Carey researched many chapters of the travel guide, Let's Go: Europe and worked on the business desk of the New York Times as a clerk. She co-authored Stylemakers: Inside Fashion which was published in June 2002 and sold on-line as well as at Bergdorf Goodman, Rizzoli and the Lenox Hill Bookstore in New York.
Carey and her family moved up to Carnegie Hill almost ten years ago after renovating a two-bedroom coop near Central Park. Her children attend the Ethical Culture Fieldston Schools. She volunteers for Carnegie Hill Neighbors and is an active member of the Park Avenue Synagogue. Carey works hard to assist her diverse clientele with their real estate needs. She brings creativity, financial expertise and attention to detail to each and every assignment.
