After eleven years in real estate, some people still know Jane Martin as Jane Marder, her maiden name. Well, her name may have changed but one thing that hasn’t changed is her dedication to her buyers and sellers. She keeps everybody in the loop. And she returns phone calls religiously.

There's almost nothing Jane won't do for her clients. She works across neighborhoods, in every price range-and goes beyond what's expected. Jane not only keeps track of all the fine points and guides all of her clients from start through the closing, but is available to her customers beyond moving day. For one, she found a decorator and a contractor-six months after the closing. For another client, who couldn't get packed and moved in time, Jane pitched in and packed a slew of boxes. For another, Jane hired painters and a cleaning service and then came in with personal items from her own home to stage the apartment and brighten things up. For another client selling an apartment with 10 foot high ceilings, she hung the curtains. And she's even arranged for doggie daycare.

Most of Jane's business comes from the referrals of satisfied customers. In the words of one, "Jane is sharp, professional, charming, and a veritable savior when it comes to navigating the co-op process. If I started a support group for co-op buyers and sellers, Jane would be our counselor."

A fourth generation New Yorker, and a Manhattan resident for 21 years, Jane knows New York and its neighborhoods. She is a graduate of Lehigh University and Macy's Executive Training program. She lives in New York with her husband, a corporate lawyer, and their two daughters.
