Lawrence Comroe & Tony Oakley have dynamic and exciting
backgrounds.
Lawrence Comroe is a third generation builder and developer
who has experience in all the building trades. Knowledge of a
building from the ground up is the cornerstone of a good broker,
and according to Lawrence that foundation of knowledge started at
a very young age. He has been personally involved in the
construction, renovation, and sale of hundreds of apartments and
townhouses
Mr. Comroe has attended University in Philadelphia Pennsylvania,
and has also owned homes and spent time in Buck's County
Pennsylvania, St. Thomas U.S. Virgin Islands, and Amsterdam,
Netherlands. Before returning to New York, Lawrence also sailed
around the world as Cruise Director on Cunard's Sea Goddess I,
traveling everywhere from up the Amazon River to exotic ports
throughout the Mediterranean.
Tony Oakley began his business career at the age of 18 when
he entered Pembroke State University and started promoting
performing arts in the local community. Later, this business grew
into “Show-Business” for Tony himself as a performer. After
graduating from The North Carolina School of the Arts in Vocal
Performance (opera) he took his career internationally working
with Kennedy Entertainment as a solo artist on cruise ships. This
career took him to live in St. Thomas USVI for several years
singing at corporate events and local resorts. Back to the ships
Tony chose to work the #1 cruise line in the world, Seabourn.
After traveling the world for several years he landed on his feet
here in New York City to carry on his family’s business of real
estate.
Together they started the Comroe & Oakley Team. Having been
friends and colleagues for some years it seemed like a natural fit.
Each one has a great sense of what people want and need. Lawrence
& Tony are creative teachers for both new and experienced Real
Estate brokers in New York. They are a fantastic team assuring
