Joanne is a frequent speaker at top broker seminars sponsored by The Real Estate Board of New York, Relocation Conferences and bank and corporate events.  She is a licensed continuing education instructor.  Joanne has guest lectured with Barbara Corcoran, Corcoran’s founder, at New York University and Mary Mount College and teach at Corcoran’s New Broker Training Program.  

Joanne is a participant of Corcoran’s Annual Retreat for the top 25 brokers, The President’s Council, The Multi Million Dollar Club and Power Brokers, USA, and TAG, the Zagat’s of The Top 100 Agents in NY.  

In her commitment to charitable causes, Joanne has been recognized for supporting the Lighthouse International and is a  founder of The Nanda Root Scholarship Fund which provides assistance for the seeing impaired.  She is also a member of the Lighthouse International President’s Circle.
