Born and raised in New York City, Mark has always enjoyed exploring its neighborhoods and discovering unique new places. When his friends and family came to visit the city, he would give them tours emphasizing its history and architecture. Time and time again he was asked the same question: “Why don’t you sell real estate?” Finally, he decided to follow their advice and make his passion his vocation. Showing people properties is the perfect way for him to keep abreast of New York’s ever-changing architectural landscape.
After receiving his Masters in Linguistics in 1995, Mark spent several years in Europe as an English teacher and as the Academic Director of English Language Schools in Poland and Spain. He has also been a news writer at CNN, an English professor, an entrepreneur, and an independent filmmaker and comedy writer. New York’s sophisticated clientele appreciate his wit and sense of humor as much as they do his attentiveness and tenacity.
Mark quickly develops a friendly rapport with clients, who appreciate that he listens carefully and asks the right questions to learn exactly what they are looking for. He recognizes that their time is precious, and works hard to avoid showing buyers anything but properties ideally suited to their needs. After putting their properties in Mark’s capable hands, sellers can expect aggressive marketing, skillful negotiation, and innovative pricing.
In addition to selling real estate, Mark is currently an Adjunct Professor at John Jay College, where he teaches composition and English literature.
Entrust Mark with all of your real estate needs. He can show you any of the thousands of listings in Corcoran’s extensive database.
