Sheila Lokitz is a Senior Vice President of The Corcoran Group, and a member of The President’s Council, comprised of the top 25 brokers of Corcoran. She is also a Certified Relocation Specialist, and a broker member of The Real Estate Board of New York.
Sheila and her husband Elliott, a Vice President at The Corcoran Group, together with their team, service an extensive client base of high-profile individuals, families, and companies, which include many of America’s leading corporations.
Over the last 15 years, Sheila has built a highly successful business serving both buyers and sellers, which today ranks in the top 2% of all real estate agents nationwide. Her keen understanding of her client’s needs, and the ability to translate them into fulfillment, have made her highly sought after by corporate HR departments, as well as the recipient of an exceptional rate of personal referrals. Her particular brand of customer service and close interaction builds relationships with her clients that continue long after their purchase or sale. She is particularly skilled at working with people that are relocating here from across the US or out of the country, who typically require extra guidance and support services.
Originally from Los Angeles, Sheila learned the real estate ropes growing up from her father, who was a prominent real estate broker there. Upon completion of her education at Cal State University in Northridge, she entered the garment industry. She then pursued two business partnerships with her husband – a nationally distributed clothing manufacturing company, and an upscale clothing store in Beverly Hills. Both businesses excelled due in large part to Sheila’s creative, sales and marketing talents. Many of her public relations and advertising programs gained national attention.
Sheila was recruited and relocated to NYC by the Russ Togs Corporation in 1990, as President of the children's-wear division, one of the largest children’s-wear businesses at the time. Sheila quickly came to appreciate the beauty and character inherent in Manhattan architecture. Two years later, realizing the opportunity, she devoted her efforts to developing a career in real estate, which would fulfill her fascination while capitalizing on her extensive business and marketing skills. She quickly earned her spot among the top producers, and today enjoys a highly respected reputation among her clientele and peers.
Sheila and Elliott are Upper East Side residents. They have two grown daughters that still reside in Los Angeles, one of whom is an Associate Realtor with our sister company, Coldwell Banker, in Beverly Hills.
