Corcoran Cares. Our Partnership For the Future.
“ Charity begins At Home”. It is not just another slogan. Corcoran Cares is the name of the non-profit, in house, charitable giving organization created to support dozens of charitable and philanthropic organizations within the communities Corcoran serves. It is our personal, tangible and meaningful way to help to sustain our pledge to improving the quality of life in these communities… the places where we live and work. Each time you see the Corcoran Cares logo on an employee or agent’s web page, it means that that individual has made a personal, financial commitment to support the many charitable organizations served under the Corcoran Cares umbrella. More far reaching than the traditional aspects of signing an Exclusive, marketing a property, hosting an open house, advertising…negotiating ….selling and closing a deal, the Corcoran agent you have chosen will help to provide benefits to our communities that extend well beyond the close of the sale of your home. At the corporate level, Corcoran makes a matching gift contribution to each participating employee or agents’ efforts. And, most importantly, we work hard to ensure that these contributions go to organizations in which the bulk of each dollar goes directly to “program recipients” as opposed to going to the expenses associated with the cost of running each organization.
For the Corcoran Cares recipients these contributions become more than just a check. They become a deposit in their future. The scope of services provided by the Corcoran Cares organizations is broad and ranges from “Art Start, Inc” an arts based, after school program in Manhattan, to “ Turtle Nest Village”, a transitional housing and self sufficiency program for young adults in Palm Beach, Florida. These two programs, in conjunction with the other Corcoran Cares beneficiaries such as The Hope Program, Children’s Aid Society, NYC Audubon, The Partnership for the Homeless, The Retreat, The Bedford Stuyvesant Volunteer Ambulance Corp, WOLF, and The Empire State Pride Agenda Foundation, encompass a full range of organizations which provide services to youth, the arts, medical research, education, wildlife, the environment, social reform issues, hunger, housing, job placement and familial solvency. Our giving doesn’t stop here. There are many other organizations which additionally benefit from our employee and agent generosity.
We feel that our efforts and our support barely scratch the surface in terms of need. But still, we have made the commitment to begin.
Our business successes are based on our ability to understand and fulfill our customer’s needs. Our personal successes are based on our ability to understand and share the responsibility of maintaining the communities in which we all live and work so that the needs of the entire community can be met.
Corcoran Cares . More than just a logo. It is our motto for success in all of our futures.
