Aside from her incredible dedication, knowledge and loyal service, Carolyn is happy to introduce her customers to what they'd enjoy on Shelter Island. She makes sure renters are aware of all the goings-on during summer, the great children's programs offered, reliable babysitting lists and more. For buyers or sellers, she connects them with whomever they need to get whatever they need done to ensure a smooth closing process. A real enthusiast for the "hunt," Carolyn loves her work and thoroughly enjoys finding that dream home match for every customer. If it's out there, she will find it, and in the process really likes spending time with the people she represents. Carolyn finds just as much contentment working on beautiful Shelter Island, which she fell in love with on ferry rides she and her husband would take there every summer. "We came to the East End 30 years ago. While living in Manhattan, we bought an 1820's Captain's house in Sag Harbor, and one day 21 years ago, following up on a real estate ad, looked at a home on Menantic Creek, made an offer and listed the Sag Harbor house by 4:00 that day!"

The couple is still awestruck looking at the gorgeous sunsets from their back deck overlooking the water. They take as much pleasure in the island beaches, golf course and lovely people they continue to meet. Carolyn also loves flower arranging and spending every spare minute in her flower garden. She served as the past president of the garden club, plus has volunteered at the local school and library.
