John is an experienced and accomplished real estate specialist who understands his customers' needs and works hard to bring their goals to fruition. Having worked many years in sales and management, he is adept at the art of customer service and focused on achieving the best results possible for buyers and sellers who rely on his expertise when it comes to the most important asset of all --one's home.
Prior to moving to Montauk full time, John sold and listed real estate for 7 years in the Syosset, Woodbury, Jericho, Muttontown, Laurel Hollow and Oyster Bay Cove areas. He was agent of the month 2-3 times a year in a 25 person office.
Previously, John served as VP-Regional Sales Manager for the A.C. Nielsen Company, before transferring his skills to real estate.
His background also includes positions ranging from Director of Budgets & Long Range Planning to Director of New Business Development. This expertise has fueled John's effectiveness as a listing and selling agent who creatively and strategically markets homes to expedite the sale.
John is partnered with Connie Tighe (also with The Corcoran Group). Together they make the ideally balanced selling and listing agents.
In addition to his work commitment, John has given much of his time to the community as a member of several boards, including Pre-Cana, LTV, Concerned Citizens of Montauk, and his co-op (in Montauk) where he was president for 10 years. Additionally, he has volunteered his time for Hospice and coached basketball. John's hobbies are meditation, reading, basketball and gardening.
