Maureen Geary's success in real estate stems from her marketing/sales experience in New York City and Europe. Before entering real estate, Maureen learned the art of negotiating serving as Account Executive at the LaMarca Group in New York where she was responsible for the expenditure of millions of dollars each year for the Southeast U.S. Toyota account. This experience inspired her to start her own advertising company with her husband. The company, specializing in international direct response marketing, was based in Germany. Upon returning to the U.S., she took up permanent residence in Sag Harbor, where she lives in a home that has been in the family since 1952, so Maureen is intimately familiar with the area. In 2000, she undertook a major 2,000 square foot addition to her house which she designed and general contracted herself. She evaluated competitive bids on all aspects of the construction process, which provided her with unique insights that she offers to her clients today.
This combination of strong negotiating skills, marketing expertise, familiarity with the area, and attention to detail allows Maureen to focus on her client's needs to get the job done in the most efficient and effective manner. She is a consistent top producer and member of Corcoran's Multi Million Dollar Club. One of her greatest pleasures has been her volunteer work as a Big Sister to Erika whom she has mentored through Big Brothers/Big Sisters of L.I. since l999.
