The GreeneHouse was a collaborative vision which came to fruition two years ago when partners David Weiss and Jonathan Jacobs, two highly accomplished, up-and-coming names in the world of real estate, secured the property which long stood as a vacant lot. According to David Weiss, in creating GreeneHouse, the team felt strongly that Fort Greene long deserved a building of this magnitude, and its time had finally arrived. “We sought to find perfect equilibrium between aesthetics and value,” he says. “This required working diligently and deliberately to study the flow of space, explore many different options, plus maximize efficiency and design potential in every stage of planning and development.
