Jerry Minsky, Senior Vice President
The Corcoran Group Brooklyn

Jerry Minsky's successful 17-year real estate career has advanced right along with the incredible growth of his Downtown Brooklyn sales territory. Member of Corcoran's prestigious 2001 Multi-Million-Dollar Club for outstanding sales volume, Jerry is well recognized for his dedication, foresight and insight into the business. His knowledge of brownstone Brooklyn history and neighborhood nuances is unmatched, as is his top quality customer-service and results-oriented approach to his work.

Jerry is a veteran Brooklyn residential specialist whose accomplishments include helping to shape a successful Park Slope office, manage a new satellite effort focusing on the Fort Greene, Clinton Hill, Prospect Heights and Stuyvesant Heights areas, and form Corcoran’s Fort Greene office in response to the enormous surge in property value and demand there. Jerry developed a strong listing presence as the neighborhood blossomed, with many townhouse resales to his credit.

A native Brooklynite and longtime brownstone owner in Fort Greene, Jerry is often called upon to contribute to prominent publications such as New York Magazine and The New York Times. Former educator and Brooklyn history student, he combined his passion for people, architecture and history into a thriving real estate career in 1986. He enjoys advising people on the real estate process, helping buyers and sellers achieve their goals, and promoting the integrity of the borough's most interesting and historic areas.

Backed by a psychology degree from Pace University and an MPA in public administration from Baruch, Jerry goes the extra mile for his clientele. He shares his Fort Greene home with his wife, Aida - a local educator in Park Slope, and two children - son Ephraim and daughter Ruby.
