Kensington

Runs from Parkside Avenue to the north, Coney Island Avenue on the east, Foster Avenue on the south and McDonald Avenue on the west.

In addition to ample street parking — a much-desired amenity in Brooklyn — homes for sale in Kensington include both attached homes and detached homes, with single-family homes and two-family homes in architectural styles including Victorian, Cape, and Queen Anne, although the predominant type of house for sale is brick. The Kensington neighborhood also boasts safe streets, plus Kensington Stables, which dates back to the 19th century. The stables offers carriage rides and pony parties in addition to riding classes, and it’s located in Prospect Park, which means that for Kensington residents, it’s practically in your backyard.
