In Brooklyn, N.Y., the former home of Spike Lee recently went on the market for $2.75 million.

In 1999, Mr. Lee sold the five-story Fort Greene townhouse to the current owners, banker Richard Wayner and his wife, attorney Ayanna Wayner, for around $1 million. The townhouse of about 5,000 square feet, built around 1899, has five bedrooms, five baths and views of Fort Greene Park. There’s a wine cellar and a landscaped garden.

Mr. Lee bought the home in 1990 for $650,000, making such films as “Malcolm X” and “Clockers” while living there. He and his wife, Tonya Lewis Lee, restored the townhouse, and sold the home to move to the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Spencer Means of Corcoran has the listing.
