Rica’s approach extends to directing her clients to the right people who are experts on mortgage, banking, legal or tax issues, interior design, public and private school applications, etc.-essentially, the practical information that will make her clients transition to New York or a move to new residence or neighborhood, a smooth experience.

A Filipina at heart, Rica is akin to Asian values but blends this with her appreciation of the European culture being married to a Dane. Her love for New York has compelled her to stay agile and strike a balance between the no-none-sense toughness that the city demands and her ingrained cultural influences on calmness and tolerance. Prior to joining Corcoran, she was a consultant for the United Nations Development Program. Rica established her own import business while living in Copenhagen, selling Filipino hand-made fabric & home accessories to the Scandinavian market. She began her love of real estate in the Philippines as a Sales Manager with Megaworld Properties and Holdings, where she was given recognition for her Leadership. Rica does volunteer work as a board member of The Classical Saxophone Project, New York and supports the PhilDev, formerly Ayala Foundation, which focuses in building science and technology-based entrepreneurship and innovation in the Philippines. Rica resides with her husband and children on Midtown Manhattan. She loves exploring the city and discovering great finds. Her favorite spot in the city- Central Park , where she proudly completed one of her many goals- a Half Marathon Race!
