Rica was very personal, attentive & at all times protected our interest. She is trustworthy and will go an extra mile for her clients even after the deal is finalized. It was a pleasure to work with Rica, & we are now happy owners of a Manhattan apt.— Mr. & Mrs. Mathew Aarts, Buyer
Going an extra-mile is what Rica’s service is all about. Her core values of Respect, Sincerity and Integrity are what she brings in all her transactions- a foundation that has built relationships of Trust and Loyalty with her clients. Her international experience and strong cultural sensitivity makes it second nature for her working with a clientele from all over the world. Rica’s dedication in guiding them through the whole process has been highly valued not only by her foreign clients who need the support in navigating the New York real estate market but also locals, who appreciate her personalized service. As your representative, Rica truly understands that whether buying, selling or renting, finding that chemistry between client and agent, building and nurturing that relationship are what matters most!
Rica’s approach extends to directing her clients to the right people who are experts on mortgage, banking, legal or tax issues, interior design, public and private school applications, etc.-essentially, the practical information that will make her clients transition to New York or a move to new residence or neighborhood, a smooth experience.
A Filipina at heart, Rica is akin to Asian values but blends this with her appreciation of the European culture being married to a Dane. Her love for New York has compelled her to stay agile and strike a balance between the no-none-sense toughness that the city demands and her ingrained cultural influences on calmness and tolerance. Prior to joining Corcoran, she was a consultant for the United Nations Development Program. Rica established her own import business while living in Copenhagen, selling Filipino hand-made fabric & home accessories to the Scandinavian market. She began her love of real estate in the Philippines as a Sales Manager with Megaworld Properties and Holdings, where she was given recognition for her Leadership. Rica does volunteer work as a board member of The Classical Saxophone Project, New York and supports the PhilDev, formerly Ayala Foundation, which focuses in building science and technology-based entrepreneurship and innovation in the Philippines. Rica resides with her husband and children on Midtown Manhattan. She loves exploring the city and discovering great finds. Her favorite spot in the city- Central Park , where she proudly completed one of her many goals- a Half Marathon Race!
