If you need it done, Lisa Skye is the woman to do it. A magnetic leader, poised speaker, avid investor, and master networker, she has uncovered remarkable opportunities through sheer force of energy, personality, and an abundance of kindness.
"The heart of everything I do is about the people," she says. It's a philosophy that has led her to work with the legends of New York City.
As a former manager in Danny Meyer's renowned hospitality empire, Lisa Skye helped set the service bar at two of Manhattan’s best and most popular restaurants: Union Square Cafe and Eleven Madison Park. Union Square Hospitality Group formed an early platform for Lisa to deepen her signature warmth and poise. "Danny taught me everything I need to know about service," she says. After a year, she tried to leave, but Meyer intervened. "We want people like you in our business," said the restaurateur. Lisa got both a promotion—and a valuable insight into her own innate talents.
Lisa's interest in real estate flared after her father’s sudden death in 2004. He was a prominent urban planner in South Florida.
Lisa entered the real estate world with Barron Mortgage Group, where she originated $40M+ in loans and fostered a vast referral network of brokers in New York City. Simultaneously, Lisa began her ascent within Manhattan Business Network International (Manhattan BNI), a globally renowned networking organization. She founded and grew Manhattan’s largest and most prosperous chapter to date. She also serves as director for eight BNI chapters, in addition to being president of "Lucky 62".
After leaving the mortgage business, Lisa was hired as Head of Community at WeWork, a rapidly growing co-working enterprise, where she booked the company’s first 170-office Soho building to capacity—followed by an extensive waiting list. Simultaneously, Lisa was able to secure an internationally acclaimed publisher for her charitable I Love Corn cookbook, created to benefit children who have lost a parent.
Lisa joined LaChance+ in 2011 as a Sales Associate with a focus on New Business Development. This 7-person team consistently ranks in the top 25 out of 2,000 Corcoran agents and within the top 100 out of 54,000 agents in the NRT network. Offering “end to end” services, including commercial sales and development, hospitality investments, residential sales, marketing, and rentals, Lisa leverages hundreds of relationships as a means to secure financially savvy and meaningful customer opportunities.
