I began selling real estate in Brooklyn over 25 years ago. Real estate was my third career having been a teacher in a three room elementary school in West Wardsboro, Vermont and then spending several years in the restaurant and catering industry. After first working with several small agencies in Brooklyn Heights, Cobble Hill and Park Slope, I joined the Park Slope office of the Corcoran Group in 2001. Having moved from Manhattan to Brooklyn in the 1980's, I have witnessed the complete transformation of Brooklyn. Since starting my real estate career, I have been fortunate to have met and worked with many extraordinary clients and co-workers, many of whom have become personal friends. What we all have in common is a love of Brookln and an appreciation of each others honesty, integrity, and humor. I am originally from Pawtucket, Rhode Island. I moved to NYC to attend Columbia University and never left. I still hold a tremendous love for New England and the Boston Red Sox.
In 1994, I purchased a garden apartment in a five unit brownstone coop. I have served as both secretary and president of this coop and presently reside there with my rescued Yorkypoo. I receive most of my clients from referrals. When I obtain a sale or rental listing, I usually share it with a fellow agent who has skills complimentary to my own.
Throughout the years I have compiled an extensive list of contacts who excel in their field- lawyers, gardeners, painters etc- which I am always eager to share as well as recommending the best places to dine and shop.
