Born and raised on the East End of Long Island Brennan has never been far from Manhattan. He attended Radford University in Virginia to obtain a B.S. in Criminal Justice and Psychology. He returned to the North Fork upon graduating in the spring of 02' to join Corcoran's now affiliate agency, Cook Pony Farm. After spending a year selling waterfront homes, vineyards, and farm houses, Brennan found himself yearning for a more aggressive, faster pace market. With ten years of experience in the New York City market Brennan has honed his skills and created a broad base of knowledge in both the rental and sales market.
With ten years of experience in the New York City market Brennan has honed his skills and created a broad base of knowledge in both the rental and sales market. He was reminded how important it was to be versed in both markets when approached by an investor looking to purchase a high yielding investment property. Rather than having to ask around and run comparable data on all buildings; Brennan knew immediately which buildings command higher rents and which had the lowest carrying costs and which had the lower price per square foot closing numbers. His diverse rental knowledge coupled with a strong background in sales Brennan was able to find a diamond in the rough. To this day the investor is still amazed at the rent his small investment has generated for him over the years. In his day to day negotiating for clients Brennan keeps in mind that the best deal for either a rental or a sale cannot be just opinions of brokers and clients but rather the use of hard facts. Negotiating is a large part of what an experienced agent like Brennan does. Properly constructed a real estate transaction should result in both parties satisfied and glad to work with the agent again, says Brennan. Getting into Real Estate at only 23 Brennan quickly learned that he had to embrace all business big and small. The studio client with a budget of $2K was just as important as the buyer without a budget. Home is home and its no less important to someone because they're searching for a studio than it is to the large family searching for their dream townhouse. Contact Brennan and The Hughes Team for the most professional real estate experience and a seamless transaction.
