About Carol

Carol Samaras' competitive nature, enthusiasm to work with people, and effectiveness in pulling many elements of a project together all shine true in her real estate work. Knowledgeable of Manhattan's various neighborhoods, Carol works intently to find the best property fit for her customers.

As a result of her years in interior design, she has a deep understanding of the aesthetic and architectural potentials of space, and can interpret those possibilities in financial as well as visual terms for her clientele.

An Upper West Side resident, Carol appreciates Manhattan life as a property owner. It was in fact her own experience purchasing and redesigning an apartment that served as inspiration to help others find that same fulfillment.

Degree in psychology and anthropology. She later also earned a degree in interior design from Parsons School of Design in New York City.

Carol's professional background prior to entering real estate primed her for success. While working in interior design, she also gained vital product marketing and management expertise at Herman Miller, then moved to the facilities and design department of Shearson Lehman. At Corcoran she implements the same results-driven work ethic, savvy for technology and creative problem solving skills she cultivated over the years to the benefit of buyers and sellers alike. Keeping her clientele's best interests first and foremost., Carol strives to fulfill even the most complex real estate demand.

An animal lover, Carol enjoys life with her three cats in the city and her horse in the country which she rides competitively (Dressage). Her other passions include gourmet cooking, science fiction and art, thanks to her brother, a renowned artist. She is fluent in Greek.
