When it comes to effectively serving her real estate clientele, residential sales professional Cay Trigg Blau does so quite successfully. She relates to people of all kinds, no matter what their temperament , age, price level or location preference. A love of helping others realize their goals coupled with her passion for Manhattan --- the city in which she's lived for 37 years --- make for an ideal combination and foundation upon which Cay has built her fine reputation.
A native New Yorker, Cay studied philosophy and art history at Simmons College, then returned to N.Y. to work in advertising and television production. At TVS Television Network, she marketed and produced AIAW Championships, pioneering women's collegiate sports exposure on national televison. She then established herself in the women's apparel industry, where she remained for more than two decades, further honing her marketing, financial and customer service skills. After she and her partner sold their thriving manufacturing business, she went on to work for the prominent Jones Apparel Group prior to entering real estate.
It's often been said of Cay that her people skills are wonderful, her advice straight and honest, her approach extremely nurturing and her personality outgoing. Dedicated and intuitive, Cay creates lasting relationships with her buyers and sellers. Her goal is to inspire confidence in her clientele by being direct and informative regarding all aspects of the market and in every step of their transaction.
Cay truly appreciates the character of Manhattan. She has lived uptown and down (where she's been for 22 years) and is familiar with every nuance in between. Longtime West Village residents, she and her husband, a real estate developer whom she's gleaned a lot from over the years, enjoy travel, skiing and the arts. Cay is a fitness enthusiast, an avid runner and tennis player.
