Growing up in Rhode Island, as the daughter of a builder and developer, Debra LaChance was destined to excel in the real estate arena. How she got there makes for the interesting story. Pursuing other professional avenues and achieving significant business success, Debra viewed buying, renovating, and selling real estate as her main creative avocation. She found the experience not only compelling but also highly rewarding. "I perceive an apartment as a potential work of art, the empty canvas awaiting individual expression. Well educated with a BS/BA in Operations Management from Boston University and an MBA in Finance/Management from New York University, Debra first worked for the CBS television network as Associate Director for NY Operations Finance. Then her true entrepreneurial spirit kicked in and she went on to develop a series of successful start-ups in the fashion, online marketing and interior design industries. Her motivation, determination and creativity allowed her to reach great heights with them all. New York has been the backdrop for so many of Debra's achievements and she is not done yet.
Debra takes great pleasure in helping others find their niche here. Whether working with buyers or sellers from uptown to down, she devotes her total attention and energy to the arts of listening to people's needs, educating them on the market, and paying attention to every detail in a transaction. Her wealth of knowledge and extensive contact base also serve her clientele well to make the overall real estate experience as streamlined as possible.
Loving city life, Debra finds time for reading, art, antiquing, interior design, painting and road trips to new places when time permits. She mostly enjoys the new relationships she forms daily in her real estate encounters, as well as the many referrals she receives because of her commitment to others.
