In the course of more than thirty years at Corcoran Emilie O’Sullivan has received all of the company’s top honors, including awards for Salesperson of the Year, Salesperson of the Month, and Deal of the Year. She is part of Corcoran’s Winners Circle and the Over $50 Million Club. Most recently, she was recognized again as Salesperson of the Year.
Known for her in-depth knowledge of the market, Emilie provides a deep historical perspective alongside a full knowledge of currently available property when working with clients in New York City. She takes a long view of the market and expertly understands the subtle personality differences of Manhattan’s finest buildings.
Emilie has enormous experience when it comes to representing sellers and their homes. She makes sure that the properties she represents are fully exposed to the widest possible audience online and in print. Her strategies regularly achieve the highest price per square foot for her sellers.
Emilie educates her clients and customers way beyond the asking price, equipping them with the knowledge they need to make realistic decisions and to negotiate confidently. Her true expertise begins after the contract is signed and the board review process starts; she helps customers navigate the daunting process of passing a co-op board. The process may not be easy, but Emilie works hard to help them produce the best possible package.
She begins each new relationship with a buyer or seller by listening carefully to their needs and helping them focus their priorities. A candid and realistic advocate, her clients know Emilie will deliver what she says without wasting time.
Emilie has enormous enthusiasm for New York and a deep commitment to its residents. “New York is constantly changing and evolving,” she observes, “but its future is brighter than ever before.”
Before starting her career in real estate Emilie worked for many years as an educator, teaching English in junior high and high schools. She is well-known in New York for her contributions to charitable causes. Among her other social responsibilities, she serves on the board of the Grosvenor Neighborhood House.
