About Julie

An industry veteran, Julie has rapidly ascended through the ranks to gross over $500 million in contract signed and closed sales and honored as a Top 100 agent by the Wall Street Journal. Julie has navigated systematically through bull and bear markets, even doubling closed sales volume and setting price records during the post-Lehman recession. A specialist in New Developments and the high-end luxury market, she represents both Buyer and Sellers, being involved hands-on in every detail of the marketing, floorplans, pricing, finish selection, marketing, advertising and sales. Her strengths as a Buyer's agent include having a throrough understanding of how to gain online and offline data points that help Buyers make informed decisions.

Graduating with a Master's degree from Columbia University as a Ford Fellow, Julie discovered that the process of analyzing a film, directing a scene study or writing a screenplay is basically a deep examination of human psychology. Like a skilled director who finds the heart of a complex story by mastering the moving parts of human desire for the perfect outcome-so is the art of deal-making.

With a sharp, detailed memory for real estate data building histories and recent sales comparables combined with a flair for working with the most demanding clients, Julie has earned the loyalties of hedge fund managers, celebrities, real estate investors, developers, high-tech venture capitalists, partners and managing directors at the top-tier bulge bracket banks-fully appreciating their desire for premium discretion, high-level knowledge and efficiency.

Julie's committed belief that real estate ownership in New York is a major quality-of-life consideration in addition to her bullish long-term outlook is a result of adhering to the theory that Manhattan has an "inelastic supply" of real estate as cited by a 50-page Harvard/Wharton abstract published in 2004-a theory she believes still holds true today.

Prior to entering real estate, Julie studied literature at Oxford University and The University of Texas at Austin graduating Phi Beta Kappa. She directed, produced and edited several award winning short films and documentaries. A trained classical pianist for 18 years, Julie was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma to immigrant parents who are her greatest role models and best friends.
