About Jeffery
Jeff has had a very successful 20 year (and counting) career in Real Estate by being aggressively on top of the market, great at negotiating, extremely knowledgeable and hard working. A New York resident since 1977 and a native of Chicago, Jeff Sholeen has been a top producer with the Corcoran Group since 1992 and has long been a Senior Vice President in the firm. He has been a continuous member of the Corcoran Million Dollar Circle and is honored to have been among Corcoran’s “Top 25.” He is also ranked in the top 1,000 sales associates of NRT Incorporated – Nationwide, Corcoran’s parent company.
Real estate has always been one of Jeff’s passions, so it was no surprise when he joined The Corcoran Group after a successful career in the arts and antiques business that included working at Sotheby’s Auction House and A La Vieille Russie, the dealer famous for Russian antiquities and Fabergé items.
An Upper West Side resident, Jeff has worked extensively in the Lincoln Center area, and has represented sellers and buyers everywhere in Manhattan from Fifth Avenue and Central Park West to the Financial District and from Sutton Place to Riverside Boulevard and Riverside Drive.
Jeff has a B.A. degree in the history of art and architecture history, was a student in the Historic Preservation graduate program at Columbia University and has taught decorative arts courses at Parsons and at the New York School of Interior Design. He’s on the board of several arts organizations and enjoys travel, reading, tennis, museum-going and singing bass in the University Glee Club.
