Laura has lived in the east side of Manhattan for over 21 years. During this time, Laura and her husband have cultivated a wonderful home with two boys who have attended school right here in the Upper East side. From her extensive time and experience in New York, Laura is well versed in the important aspects that an individual or a family must consider when looking for a home in Manhattan. She helps her buying-clients think through the advantages and disadvantages of living on the East Side versus the West Side; Uptown versus Downtown; or buying a cooperative versus a condominium apartment. When representing a seller, Laura focuses on maximizing interest from potential buyers through strategic use of advertising, business and her extensive personal network. She works closely with the seller to determine an optimal listing price that in her experience, will attract the most generous number of home buyers.She is focused and can swiftly identify what truly matters to her clients.
Laura was born and raised in Caracas Venezuela, where she studied Business Administration. Prior to moving to New York in 1991, she worked two years as a private banking executive at Banco Union, a leading commercial bank in Venezuela. This experience exposed her to a broad array of client related situations, challenging her listening and problem solving skills, making them what they are today.
Laura enjoys traveling and cultural events such as the opera and New York’s many art and history museums. But the rest of her pastimes come second to her son's wrestling meets. In addition, Laura has volunteered at various school related activities, been a class representative at her sons’ schools, and contributes to her time and effort to a myriad of different community organizations, including the Metropolitan Opera and Parents in Action.
