Maria Pashby is a Senior Vice President at Corcoran and respected member of the Manhattan brokerage community with more than 31 years experience marketing luxury residences throughout the city. Over the years many of her sales have also set records for the price per square foot attained, particularly in her specialty niche of larger apartments. Maria possesses a voluminous knowledge of buildings, boards and neighborhoods, and conducts business on behalf of her clients with great integrity, tenacity and international charm.

Maria’s fine work has been continually rewarded with the most prestigious accolades, the most prominent of which comes from the REBY, which recognized her not once, but twice (in 2004 and 2006) as winner of the REBNY Deal of the Year Award.

She is only one of two brokers in the history of this coveted award, given annually to brokers who’ve handled deals with the highest levels of ingenuity, creativity and professional skill, to receive this honor twice.

Maria’s other notable achievements include consistent placement among Corcoran’s Top 25 Brokers companywide, membership in the President’s Council and Multi-Million-Dollar Club, and in the Top 1 percent of NRT’s 54,000 Sales Associates nationwide year after year. Since partnering with her daughter, Corcoran Vice President Joanna Pashby in 2005, has sold over 1 billion in Manhattan properties and have been members of the multi-million dollar club from 2002 onwards. Maria is also repeatedly sought after and has been frequently featured by the press as an authority on the real estate market; plus she is often invited to speak on various panels including REBNY, Bank of America and others.

Yet it is the loyalty and referrals of her clients that mean the most to Maria. Predominantly referral-based, her business consists of dealing with a diverse clientele who range from growing families to relocations from Europe and Latin America where she has a strong, dedicated following.

Born in Portugal and educated in England, Maria has spent most of her adult life in Manhattan. She loves the city she sells, and has enjoyed being a homeowner and resident in Carnegie Hill, TriBeCa, Central Park West where she still owns an apartment, and the Upper East Side where she currently lives.
