About Amanda

Amanda Tarter is a born and raised Manhattanite who exudes the same fresh energy as her hometown city does. As a Vice President and member of Corcoran's Multi-Million Dollar Club, her market knowledge, unique perspective and strong enthusiasm all come into play when helping others find the right New York City home. First-time buyers especially love Amanda thanks to her youthful spirit and dogged determination to make their initial real estate experience rewarding. Amanda, who grew up on the Upper West Side, owned an apartment in Greenwich Village, and has now returned to her roots uptown, has a keen understanding of the city's diverse neighborhoods and is a good read when it comes to identifying where her customers would feel most at home.

She has sold in all areas of the city Brooklyn, Harlem, Queens, the Upper East and West sides, Soho, and the Village and is passionate about a variety of neighborhoods. She is a personable, professional and dedicated agent who will stick with you until your ideal new residence is found, or until your property is sold or rented. Amanda has recently sold a number of lofts, both in Brooklyn and Soho. She particularly loves the challenge and creativity of figuring out the best configuration of space and the preservation of architectural details. She also understands the intricacies of working with a developer, having sold in numerous new construction and conversion buildings and recently purchasing an apartment herself in a pre-war conversion. The only time Amanda left Manhattan was to attend college at Tufts University in Boston. Amanda has also worked at a Soho-based commercial real estate firm where she gained invaluable knowledge about the real estate industry, but soon realized that her real passion was working with customers to find the home of their dreams.
