Sherry has received numerous honors, including a seat on Corcoran’s Advisory Council for two years, the President's Council for seven years, and the Gold Council since its inception two years ago. A Cornell University graduate, she is a member of Cornell's prestigious University Council and a member emerita of the Arts and Sciences Advisory Council. She has been a lecturer for the continuing education classes at New York University's Real Estate Institute and has led classes at the Corcoran Group for both newcomers and seasoned brokers. In addition, she is a board member of the Girl Scout Council of Greater New York where she has served for six years.

And now - after more than a few record-breaking years - Sherry has created The Matays Group, part of The Corcoran Group real estate. As its founding partner, she spearheads the group's full-service efforts to effectively and efficiently work with buyers and sellers of luxury real estate throughout Manhattan.

When not off helping her clients to buy and sell real estate or lecturing, Sherry and her husband love spending time with their children, playing golf or flying off to the next exotic destination.
