About Sam

Sam Sunshine was raised on the Upper East Side in a real estate family. He spent his school years on the West Side at Collegiate and lived on Washington Square Park in the Village while graduating from New York University Film School. Sam is the son of Louise Sunshine founder of The Sunshine Group, and great grandson of Barney Pressman founder of Barneys New York. The condominium, co-op, and townhouse markets are his focus. Sam is attuned to which buildings offer the highest return on investment and accurately prices value. In December of 2009, Sam sold an apartment at One Beacon Court for over $3,000 sqft., at a price of $6.5million, after just a month on the market, and for more than twice the 2006 purchase price. He has closed $16million of transactions. Sam Sunshine enjoys efficiently guiding people through the most important financial and quality of life investment.

Sam photographed both a full page advertisement for Richard Meier's design of 165 Charles Street that appeared in The New York Times Magazine, and a seven page lifestyle narrative for Trump Park Avenue.
