Andrea moved to the Upper West Side from the west coast in 1982. She enjoyed a highly successful career in Manhattan as a designer of textiles and men's clothing for some of the biggest names in the home furnishings and menswear businesses. Her aesthetic eye and creative problem solving capability - coupled with the sharp managerial and the negotiating skills she honed while manufactoring multi-million-dollar programs internationally - set the stage for her natural transition into real estate. She crossed the bridge to Brooklyn in 1997 and purchased a home in Park Slope where she still resides with her husband and son. In speaking of her real estate experience, Andrea equates renovating that brownstone to being "graduate school for a real estate broker". She learned the intricacies of the process, from choosing the contractors to deciding which paint colors, and the myriad of details in between. Andrea is as active in her community as she is in her real estate work. At her son's school in Fort Greene, Brooklyn Tech, she is an executive board member of the PTA and volunteers on variuos committes. She is active in Prospect Park, and the Brooklyn Botanic Garden as well as maintaining ties with many of the other Brooklyn civic organizations. When she is not in Brooklyn, Andrea is a passionate traveler, an aspiring surfer, and enjoys playing tennis.
