One Flight up ON THE SECOND FLOOR! This wonderful two bedroom, two bath boasts high ceilings, exposed brick walls and a decorative fireplace, which are only a few of the key ingredients desired by most buyers of a quintessential brownstone apartment nestled in the heart of New York's Upper West Side... and, in this apartment that's only the beginning. This duplex apartment with two bedrooms, two full bathrooms and a large terrace off the master bedroom boasts a cutting edge architectural stair-case. The kitchen is complete with stainless steel appliances and dishwasher. The master bedroom, larger than most studio apartments, has French doors that open out to an approx. 10 x 15 terrace that has been built out with cedar decking and a full border of seating, perfect for entertaining under the stars. In 2005, the coop completed the restoration of the building along with a stoop addition. The apartment has tremendous closet space including a walk-in closet in the master bedroom as well as washer and dryer, one flight up from the stoop. A large storage area is available to all shareholders and central air conditioning is possible.

Upper West Side
Upper West, from Central Park West to the Hudson River, 57th Street to 110th Street.
Every ten blocks of the Upper West Side seem to have their own character: the 70s and 80s have their share of “Classic Six” prewar apartments (that’s three bedrooms, a living room, dining room, and kitchen, as opposed to a “Classic Seven,” which has all that plus a room for the maid or domestic staff, sometimes used as a home office.) Along Riverside Drive on the Upper West Side, there are contain some grand-scale apartment buildings with magnificent river views to match the street’s name. Meanwhile, the southern bit of the Upper West Side embraces the Time Warner Center, which has some of the most spectacular luxury condos in the city, along with high-end shops like Coach and Hugo Boss, once-in-a-lifetime eateries like Per Se, and a giant subterranean Whole Foods that seems to hold every resident of the Upper West Side at once.
