    Stay on the L train past Williamsburg, and you’ll find yourself in Bushwick. A dynamic, ever-evolving neighborhood, Bushwick was considered an industrial hub long before it became Brooklyn’s perceived capital of cool — but more than any label can indicate, it exudes a genuine sense of community. Most of its borders are well-established — Ridgewood, Queens to the northeast, Bedford-Stuyvesant across Broadway to the southwest — though others are more amorphous. Flushing Avenue forms the traditional East Williamsburg boundary, though many restaurants and residents across it still consider themselves part of Bushwick.
