Talk about taking a lot on at once.

Right before New York Fashion week hit full tilt, designer Marc Jacobs decided to move. A source told the Daily News that Jacobs has left the $20,000-a-month rental at the Chelsea Mercantile that he has lived in since 2009.

The furnished three-bedroom penthouse with an outdoor terrace is now back on the market for $23,000 a month from Corcoran's Andrew Torrey and Noble Black. The listing describes the apartment's souped-up entertainment system as having "every imaginable convenience," and the open kitchen as chock-full of high-end appliances. As one would expect, the spread has "abundant closet space."

New York Magazine hears that Jacobs is moving into one of six townhouses that are part of Superior Ink, a Robert A.M. Stern–designed condo in the West Village, which reportedly has a bike valet. And while we'd normally comment on how absolutely taxing dealing with your bicycle can be, we'll cut Jacobs a break here. He's got to be exhausted.
