Why it’s for sale The Ulaszeks are moving to North Carolina. Michael, 35, is a marketing account director and Karli, 36, is a stay-at-home mother.

A lot of memories have been made in this 1956 ranch in the short time the Ulaszeks have lived here. This is where Michael proposed to Karli and where the couple started a family. When they purchased the 900-square-foot house four years ago, it had been completely renovated. Features include an open floor plan with large windows, wood floors and a kitchen with stainless-steel appliances and granite countertops. Outside, the quarter-acre parcel is landscaped with a large deck and firepit area. As for the neighborhood, most residents live here year round, Karli says, adding that the quaint village of Southampton is about six miles away and there’s easy access to budget-friendly stores in Riverhead, such as Target and the Tanger Outlets. Karli also had this to say about the area and her two-bedroom, two bathroom house:

“The proximity to the water is fabulous. There’s a family-friendly bay beach with shallow water suitable for young children, a playground and summer-scheduled activities that include a clam bar, live music and classic car shows ... For a small home, it has a very workable kitchen with lots of cabinet space and a window seat for additional storage.”
