NOW that Jake Gyllenhaal is making his musical stage debut - he will be starring in an Off-Broadway production of "Little Shop of Horrors" - he's back on his New York house hunt. But he might want to move fast. Gyllenhaal has checked out two units at 52 Lispenard, a luxury cast-iron condo conversion in TriBeCa.

First he looked at a three-bedroom, 41/2-bathroom, 3,336-square-foot unit asking $7.3 million that's now in contract to someone else. Then he looked at a four-bedroom, 41/2-bathroom measuring 3,804 square feet whose price has increased from $7.5 million to $8 million. Listing broker Tamir Shemesh, of Corcoran, declined to comment.
