Second floor wrought iron continues throughout. The pilasters of Nos. 6-8 are enriched with Greek fret motifs. The slightly recessed entrance is flanked by Doric columns. The piano nobile has tall windows with austere surrounds while stone lintels with Greek frets are on third and fourth. The stone-trimmed attic is set back behind a stone cornice with anthemion cresting. Currently, most of the demolition work has been completed in preparation for the building's metamorphosis. Built of solid concrete and steel structure, the building is awaiting a discerning purchaser who desires the ultimate New York mansion.
