One of the most private areas on the South Fork, North Haven is paradise to residents who value its low-key and relaxed ambience. The only fine dining here is around the dinner table chez vous, because North Haven has no restaurants or shopping. That is left to Sag Harbor. North Haven, like Garbo, wants to be alone.
The main road in and out of town is Route 114, which connects you in one straight shot to Sag Harbor and East Hampton to the south, and Shelter Island and Greenport to the north. Either way, hold on to your hat because the vistas will blow you away.
North Haven's homes and gardens are gorgeous, traditional in style, and perfect in their proportionality. Private communities abound, many with their own beaches, moorings, and docks. North Haven is the perfect haven for those who value a private life of living well.
