While she and Greg enjoyed the excitement of city life living in a wonderful TriBeCa loft for over 20 years, they were finally able to purchase a summer home in their dream town Sag Harbor in 1994 for their much-needed getaways.
It only took one year to decide on relocating to their new home with Greg ultimately making the move as well.
A devoted service professional, Marlene works hard to satisfy the needs of her clients and customers and assure them as much contentment as she feels in her own Sag Harbor home. After graduating from California State University at Fresno, where she earned a BS degree in Plant Science, she moved with Greg to Manhattan and worked in the restaurant business for many years, eventually becoming General Manager of the renowned and highly-regarded Odeon Restaurant.
Marlene’s flair for working with people, attentiveness to their needs and commitment to following through until their goals are met are testaments to the success she achieves in real estate, becoming a member of Corcoran’s Multimillion Dollar Sales Club. Her love of the communities she serves encompasses both an admiration of the distinctive styles and periods of the homes to an appreciation of the landscape that surrounds them. Marlene worked in the field of horticulture for a time prior to entering residential sales. Her experience caring for her own roof garden in TriBeCa and working as designer for Whitmore’s and Spielberg Nurseries enabled her to beautifully create small perennial and container gardens, a hobby she still enjoys.
Marlene is a member of the Parrish in Water Mill, MOMA in NYC, Guild Hall in East Hampton, Olde Towne Garden Club of Southampton, the Horticultural Alliance of the Hamptons in Bridgehampton and Madoo in Sagaponack. For many years Marlene coordinated the private garden tours for the Horticultural Alliance members.
Marlene and Greg are team players in the real estate market with over 20 years experience behind them.
