Get to know East Moriches

As the easternmost of the Moriches hamlet triumvirate, it’s no wonder they call this one East Moriches. Like its westerly siblings, East Moriches makes for a positively divine setting. The area maintains a feeling of solitude but is easily accessible via car or the nearby Speonk LIRR station. Colonials, cottages, ranches, farmhouses, and historic 19th-century homes all tuck into this pristine East End varietal of the countryside, with the most sought-after addresses soaking up bucolic waterfront beauty. Yes, whether it’s the bay, the inlet, or the collection of coves, water is a vital facet of life in the hamlet. Webby’s Beach is one hamlet over in Center Moriches, while stunning white sand beaches along the Atlantic are short drives away. Meanwhile, a quick ride on Sunrise Highway is all it takes to explore the seemingly-infinite splendor of the Hamptons.
