With an illustrious real estate career spanning more than two decades, Michael DeSario has excelled in every aspect of the business from sales to investments and development. As former co-owner of the area's once-leading real estate firm, Cook Pony Farm, Michael was instrumental in helping bring The Corcoran Group to the East End when he and his partners sold the firm to Corcoran in 2003. Michael was initially responsible for the 10 offices he'd helped develop as Corcoran's VP of Administration, but ultimately transitioned back into the sales arena because he is a true "deal junkie" who loves the challenge, diversity and gratification of helping buyers and sellers achieve their unique goals.

Information, imagination and integrity have been key elements in Michael's success. To understand the big picture, he strives to identify the issues and requirements at hand and view them from various perspectives. His calculated business approach and sharp problem solving abilities have earned Michael outstanding results and a fine reputation in his field.

An East Hampton resident and the father of three, Michael is well established in his community and has worked to preserve its natural beauty. As a founding member and past director of the Hamptons' and North Fork Real Estate Board, he lobbied for and helped pass the Community Preservation Fund that has protected over 6,000 acres of open space in the Hamptons since 1999. Currently a chairman of two non-profit housing boards, he has also just finished a project providing 47 new units of affordable housing for local seniors in East Hampton. Michael, in addition to donating his time and expertise, is collaborating with the Lutheran church to build an additional 40 units of low-income senior housing in Amagansett.
