How should we connect with you?

    Oakley

A portmanteau of “oak,” for its abundance of trees, and “ley,” the Old English world for meadow, Oakley is a city on the grow that’s blossomed from a modest agricultural town to a community of 35,000. It’s considered the heart of the California Delta and known for its abundance of attractive and affordable real estate, all within easy reach of Oakland and San Francisco. Winemaking thrived in Oakley historically, and some of the state’s oldest and rarest varietals still grow here. More than 700 acres of vineyard thrive in the area’s fair Mediterranean climate—mostly Zinfandel. A scenic setting at the mouth of the San Joaquin river provides an abundance of waterways for recreation and exploration. Oakley’s leadership strives to preserve its pleasant atmosphere while encouraging and developing new industry and employment opportunities. The community proudly participates in the East Contra Costa Bicycle Plan and anticipates future expansion thereof.
