How should we connect with you?

    Daniel Island

Residents of Daniel Island love their small-town lifestyle in a 4,000-acre master-planned community, first developed in the mid-1990s. The island is separated from downtown Charleston by the Cooper River, but it's still considered part of Charleston proper. As a result of its natural geographic boundaries, Daniel Island exists in its own little world in the middle of the city. Kids ride to school on their bikes and the golf cart is a common vehicle of choice. There are eight main parks evenly distributed over the island, as well as more than 25 miles of trails for walking, cycling, or running. Many here belong to the exclusive Daniel Island Club, with its two well-regarded golf courses, three swimming pools, and tennis courts. The island also boasts the Credit One Stadium, which hosts major musical artists throughout the year, as well as a WTA 500 tennis tournament.
