The area surrounding Seven Mile Beach is known collectively as the Seven Mile Beach Corridor. Though the Corridor includes Seven Mile Beach itself, the term is generally used to refer to the inland and canal-front private enclaves on the eastern side of the beach. Detached single-family houses are more popular in the Corridor than on the beachfront, and luxury condominiums and villas in all sizes are available as well. The region’s central location has many perks—in addition to its proximity to the beach, residents can stop by Camana Bay, a town founded on the principles of New Urbanism, with a weekly farmer’s market, the island’s only movie theater, and plenty of shops and restaurants. It’s also easy to get to the airport or marina to fly or sail to the east end of the island or to Cayman Brac or Little Cayman.
