About Daniel

Daniel Romero uses his background as a design professional to help clients see beyond a space and envision what a home can be for them. He is very familiar with the emotions involved in the process of buying or selling a home and cares deeply for his clients. He has a great design sense, is direct and honest while being very compassionate, and uses sharp negotiating skills to close any sale.

Daniel was born and raised in Miami and received a Master of Architecture from Florida International University. He worked as an architect and interior designer for 10 years. As a project manager at the award-winning FXFOWLE Architects, he was involved with such high-profile projects as the National Audubon Society’s New York headquarters and the Lincoln Center Redevelopment.

His business savvy and unique marketing strategies were put to good use as owner of a thriving craft cocktail bar in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Daniel took a raw commercial space and designed and built the bar's interiors doing most of the construction work himself. His social media skills generated a large, loyal fan base and the bar received wide recognition from both local and international press.

Daniel speaks fluent Spanish, and enjoys traveling in the U.S. and abroad. In his spare time, he works on various painting and sculpture projects in his art studio and enjoys experimenting in the kitchen. He also makes a mean Old Fashioned. When he’s not in the city, you can find him upstate with his husband, a photographer of luxury interiors, and their Cairn Terrier, Miles.

Recommendations
Strongly recommend Daniel Romero. He went out of his way negotiating with a potential client and ultimately recommending not to rent to them, and then hand-holding a new tenant with getting certified checks and everything else required for moving in.

Selling an apartment was more difficult than we first anticipated. We were so lucky to have Daniel in our corner! Because of his support we always felt confident and at ease throughout the process. There was never a question that Daniel was working towards our best interest, so we could make the best deal possible. If you’re buying or selling in NYC we would highly suggest you work with him.
