About Israel

A top-producing agent with an exceptional talent for negotiating, Israel Irenshtain is equally known for his positive attitude and tenacious approach to streamlining transactions. He is much more focused on the solution than on any problem that may arise, and because of that, enjoys many closed deals and repeat/referral clients. Working with him as your agent and partner will assure you the smoothest, most pleasant and rewarding real estate experience, whether you're buying a home, selling a prized property or seeking a sound investment.

Since entering the real estate business in 2007, Israel has orchestrated hundreds of deals, managed multiple offices, and trained dozens of real estate agents who went on to great success. What has fueled his accomplishments in addition to his firm knowledge of the market is his total transparency with clients and his ability to connect well with all parties involved in a transaction.

Prior to his real estate career, Israel was an executive administrator at a well-known educational establishment on the Lower East Side. He also served as a Campaign Manager for one of New York City's most veteran councilmen. Academically, Israel earned his education at the L.E.V. Institute of Technology in Jerusalem, and is a SUN certified Java Programmer. A native of Israel, Israel moved to New York with his family at the age of eight. After living in Brooklyn for years, he made Riverdale his home in 2008. He still resides there with his two young daughters, one of whom is attending high school on the Upper West Side.

Israel is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York. When not busy with work and family, he loves snowboarding, reading, and studying human nature and psychology, a hobby that further helps him understand his customers and negotiation partners. Israel is also actively involved with Foosteps.org, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing educational, vocational and emotional support to those seeking to enter or explore a world beyond the insular, ultra-religious environments in which they were raised.

I have dealt with real estate brokers for over 35 years and in several countries. It would be rare indeed to find an agent as knowledgeable, dedicated, efficient and with true human compassion as Mr. Irenshtain. In my New York transaction with him, he closed the deal with amazing speed and competence—no back-handed deals or false promises—all professional straight talk.

— Arun Misra Esq., Buyer & Seller
From our first meeting Israel, we were very impressed with him. Israel was patient, flexible and always said the right thing to put our concerns at ease. He¹s the consummate sales professional; caring and knowledgeable and results oriented. We couldn't be happier with the job Israel did and would recommend him highly to anyone looking to rent, sell or buy a home.
— Michael Annunziata, Customer
I'm so lucky to have met a patient, honest, and reliable broker whom I now consider a friend. For one whole year of exhausting open houses, complex paperwork, tedious emails, endless questions, and spur of the moment phone calls, Israel held my hand throughout. He was compassionate, comprehensive, prompt and thorough. The apartment I now happily occupy is called home, thanks to him.
