About Maggie

Real estate runs in Maggie Chong’s blood. The daughter of a top producer in her hometown of Oklahoma City, she has been surrounded by the industry from a very young age. This early exposure to real estate cultivated a passion which inspired Maggie to jumpstart her own career in the business in New York City. In this time, she has worked with sellers, buyers and renters at various price points and worked alongside one of the top brokers in the US and New York market, focusing on luxury sales and multi-million dollar apartments.

You want Maggie on your side for her knowledge of the industry, market trends and inventory. Her negotiation skills and keen sense of value make her your best advocate. She will guide you through the steps of selling, purchasing or renting to ensure an advantageous, seamless and successful process. Her diligence, attention to detail and integrity provide you with the best possible service in the field. Maggie is well versed in first time home buying; the parental purchasing processes in co-ops (including co-purchasing and gifting); and high-end rentals.

After living in downtown Manhattan for twelve years, she made the move to Brooklyn. Maggie is savvy about the City and enjoys exploring new restaurants and staying on top of the constantly changing neighborhoods. She is Vice President for Success Academy’s Young Professional's Committee, and has served for several years as the Encore Co-Chair for the School of American Ballet's Winter Ball. She is a member of the New York Junior League, the New York Public Library and the Brooklyn Public Library. She enjoys studying Mandarin, cooking, practicing yoga, running in Prospect Park, SoulCycle and traveling.

Maggie is a graduate of New York University with a double degree in History and East Asian Studies and a minor in Politics. While at NYU she studied abroad in Shanghai and London. Prior to joining The Corcoran Group, she worked in the fashion and legal industries.

Maggie’s effectiveness, efficiency and genuine care for people’s best interests make it truly a rewarding experience to work with her.
