About Michelle

Having been a buyer or seller herself a number of times, Michelle brings an uncanny understanding and empathy to the process of buying and selling real estate. With a knack for reading people, her clients find her to be diplomatic in helping all parties see both sides while getting her clients the end result that they desire. Rather than create conflict, she defuses it. Michelle feels one of the facets of her job is to be an interpreter for her clients through all the points of contact - from accepted offer all the way to the closing table.
Michelle understands what it’s like to work with an unresponsive agent, which is why she prides herself on keeping her clients updated throughout the process. She keeps in touch as much as possible even if that means, saying “I don’t have an answer yet but as soon as I do you’ll hear from me”. There’s a level of anxiety involved in any real estate transaction that can snowball. Michelle prides herself on keeping it a little snowflake.
Her 20- plus years of production, writing and performing experience in TV, theatre and film give her a unique take on preparing a listing. The process should have a beginning, middle, and end. Staging the home (which she adores to do for her sellers) is the equivalent of building the set. Creating the marketing dialogue for the listing is like writing the script, shooting the images to go with the listing are the PR photos and finally, the first open house, is opening night.

A dual-citizen of both the US and Sweden , she is fluent in Swedish and conversational in French.
Michelle adds being the president of a Prospect Heights coop board and the owner of a Boerum Hill brownstone to her arsenal of real life experience, which she freely shares with buyers and sellers alike.
Born in Princeton, NJ. with a B.A. in English/Creative Writing at Cornell University. A member of the Ivy League’s first comedy improv troupe, The Whistling Shrimp. She has been a successful commercial and voice-over actor, TV Host, writer and comedy performer and producer in NYC for over 20 years.
A resident of Brooklyn since 2000 (Prospect Heights, Boerum Hill and Williamsburg), Michelle loves to find sanity in biking in glorious Prospect Park and gardening & waking to the whinnying of horses in her vacation home in the Hudson Valley. She visits her Swedish family and summer home on the Baltic Sea as often as she can. She writes, does hot yoga & also loves fishing, travel, Mystery Science 3K, & is a bit of a science nerd.
