About 425 East 58th Street

Designed by Emery Roth and Sons, the Sovereign is one of the most well-known post-war cooperatives in the city. The elegant lobby has soaring ceilings and wonderful retro 1950 chandeliers designed by the Italian architect Carlo Scarpa. Get to know Greenpoint

Located in Brooklyn’s northwest corner, tucked above Williamsburg, Greenpoint has the feel of a small waterfront town. The atmosphere includes some of the best vibes of Williamsburg, in terms of new restaurants and bars — while, so far, still somewhat under the radar. Running through the middle of Greenpoint, McGuinness Boulevard divides it into two distinct halves. The livelier western side is where you’ll find most of the restaurants and shopping, as well as the G train. In the eastern half, the atmosphere is quieter, and the feeling of being removed from the big-city bustle is even more palpable.
