Building was built in 1895/6. It then was called The St. Andoche Apartment House. The 120-year old building is one of the oldest apartment buildings in Manhattan. Co-op History. Originally a privately owned rental building. It was converted to co-op in 1980. Landmarked Historic. It has been designated part of the West End Historic District by the NYC Landmarks Commission.
