Alex is excited to bring his $150M of townhouse sales experience to The Meier Team at Corcoran!
He started his NY real estate career at age 21 selling multifamily brownstones and tenement buildings on the Upper West Side. With this experience, he was well equipped to shift into a townhouse specific role at Leslie J. Garfield & Co. There, he contributed to the UWS business while helping establish the firm in Harlem and Brooklyn. In his 5 years in the industry prior to joining Corcoran, Alex developed strong philosophies on the optimal way to market a townhouse and attain the highest price possible for his clients.
Alex has always said that a jack of all trades is a master of selling real estate. To give credence to this claim, Alex pursues knowledge in many forms. He studies history, economics, science, and politics, and also enjoys a good novel. He has a strong interest in music; you can often find him at Carnegie Hall, or working on his latest piano composition. When he has a few minutes to spare at lunch, he drops by Union Square for a quick game of chess. If you're having trouble figuring out your Myers-Briggs type, have a cup of coffee with him and he'll help you figure it out.
Alex and his wife, Lea, love strolling through their Park Slope neighborhood after dark, under the flickering light of the gas lamps that line their favorite blocks.
Alex is a graduate of The Haverford School in PA, and received his B.A. in Economics from Trinity College.
